Throughout Mental Health Awareness Week, WYO Educate and the World Youth Organization held numerous pop-up stalls stationed across the London Borough of Havering.
The charity raised awareness of their newly launched WYO Educate Mental Health workshop and also the importance of reducing stress levels with the ‘Breathe Station’.
2018s theme for for Mental Health Awareness Week was stress.
According to YouGov, younger people have higher stress related to the pressure to succeed. 60% of 18-24 year olds and 41% of 25-34 year olds cited this, compared to 17% of 45-54s and 6% of over 55s).
The pop-up stalls were located at both Havering College and Romford Market.
Throughout the week other local charities and organisations such as Mind and YMCA came together too, to show their support and work they do for mental health in the London Borough of Havering.
WYO worked alongside the North East London NHS Foundation Trust (NELFT) throughout the week.
Without the World Youth Organization’s new partnership with Hemraj Goyal Foundation, all this work would not be possible. More information regarding this special partnership will be published soon via an official press release.
